In Oregon, during fiscal year 2000, Adult Protective Services conducted 10,000 investigations of alleged abuse and neglect of vulnerable adults. During fiscal year 2003, Oregon's Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) Crime Victim Assistance grantees served 710 victims of elder abuse.
